We specialise in managing equity investments for high net-worth individuals via bespoke portfolios or model investment portfolios. Our aim is to provide long term superior risk-adjusted returns in the South African equity market.

Oakleaf Capital was founded in 2008 by Edward Lenci and Pierre Badenhorst. Edward previously headed the Absa Capital Equity Derivatives trading business for 10 years. Pierre was a Quantitative and Derivative analyst at Peregrine Securities for 2 years before taking over responsibility for Inter Dealer broking and Derivative sales on the desk.

Edward Lenci is a qualified JSE stockbroker and RPE registered Equity Derivatives trader and holds a B.Com (Hons) (Wits) Finance and Insurance & Risk and CFA qualification.

Pierre Badenhorst is a RPE registered Equity Derivatives trader and holds a B.Com (Econ/Finance) from TUKS and B.Com (Hons) Investment Management from RAU.
